It is with great sadness, we announce our dear beloved Appa,

Mr Sathasivam Nagalingam Devendran (Deva), moved on from this world

peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, to be nearer to God on10 December 2022.

 

Mr Devendran was born in Jaffna, lived in Colombo, Jaffna, and the UK.

He is preceded in death by his parents Valliamma  and Nagalingam.

 

He is the beloved husband of Jacintha (Lali) and devoted father to Kabila and Veebishna,

Loving father-in-law to Jasanthan and Tina,

Adoring grandfather of Luxshya, Ayeshan and Oviya

 

Treasured brother of Sakunthala (Canada), Manoharan (UK), Late Karunakarn (Sri Lanka),

Sushila (UK), Vathsala (Canada), Sahadevan (UK) and Manjula (Sri Lanka)

 

Dear son-in-law to Late Mabel and Late Joseph Pius,

Affectionate brother-in-law of  Late Vallipuranathan (Canada), Thavamani (UK),

Dhenu (Sri Lanka),  Kiruba (UK), Jeevalingam (Sri Lanka),

Vetharajah (UK), Mala (Sri Lanka), Antony (Tony Canada),

Nanda (UK), Subentha (UK), Vincent (Australia) and Selva (UK)

 

Doting uncle of Anuja, Maithini, Metthusha, Ragavi, Aravinthan, Suganthan, Anita,

Jancy, Antony Junior, Michelle, Tharishi, Kasturi, Ghayathri, Janahan, Jeffrey,

Akshayah, Myurie and Pio.

 

He will be profoundly and deeply missed. 

 

 Funeral Service on Wednesday 21st December 2022

 

Requiem Mass will be starting at 10:30am, at Church of Our Lady and St Michael, Crown Rise, Garston, Watford, Herts, WD25 0NE, to thank God and celebrate his life.

 

This will be followed by Cremation at West Herts Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Garston, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD25 0JS, commencing at 12:40pm.

 

After the service, we invite all to join us for a meal to honour his Life at

Bushey Country Club, High Street, Bushey, Hertfordshire, WD23 1TT, starting from 2pm.
