We are sad to announce the passing of Electra Poovier, was born in Karampon Sri Lanka, Lived in  Negombo, Sri Lanka and London, UK.

She was surrounded by her loved ones when she left us

suddenly to enter her heavenly home.

 

She was the cherished daughter of

late Mrs Mary Margaret Muthurasa and  late Mr Muthurasa Singarayar

 

beloved wife of B A Poovier

 

loving daughter in law of

late Thambirasa and late Daisy .

 

devoted mother of  Shobana and Tharsshana

 

Loving  mother in law of Alfred Jeevarajah (jeeva)

 

adoring grandmother to Dionne

 

affectionate sister of late Mariyanayagam

 

dear sister in law to  late Xavier, Thilagam , late Beatrice

and Sucila Mariyanayagam.

 

She is sorely missed by both family and friends.

 

Funeral Service on Tuesday 10th January 2023

​

Requiem Mass to celebrate her life will start at 10:30am,

at St SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 343 High Road, Ilford IG1 1QP.

(Off Road parking and Lidl car park)

Followed by Burial at Forest Park Cemetery & Crematorium

at Forest Road, Hainault IG6 3HP (12pm approx.).

After the service, we invite all to join us for a meal to honour her life

at Old Parkonians Pavilion, Oakfield Playing Field, Forest Road, Ilford, IG6 3HD.

Starting from 1:30pm (car park available)
