It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Cyrilla Anton, who was called to rest on the 4th of January 2026. 

 

Mary, who was fondly known as Hema, was born in Karampon, Sri Lanka, to the late Santhiyapillai Savarimuthu and the late Magdeline Savarimuthu.

 

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Edward Anton, with whom she enjoyed 53 years of marriage. Her presence will be missed by her cherished children, Anita and Michael, and    son-in-law Jeffrey.

 

She was an adoring Ammammah (grandmother) to Natasha and Elijah.

 

She was an affectionate sister to late Leo Anton, Aloysious, Prema, Ida and Alex.

 

Mary was a loving Sister-in-law to Leema, Ratnes, late Thurai, Stanley, Verni, late Kingsley and late Rita, late Sebastianpillai, Claris, Joseph and Sharmini.

 

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.”- 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
