In loving memory of 

On December 24, 2023, Ms. Lourdes Loganayaki Mallika Saverimuthu passed away at the age of seventy-six in London, UK.

She was the cherished eldest child of the late Jacob Saverimuthu, and late Regina Saverimuthu (nee John Rajah) of Atchuvely.

A caring sister to the late Meera Mervyn (late Mervyn Joseph), and Logan (Minat) Saverimuthu (Marietta nee John), San Jose, California, USA, she also fulfilled the role of an affectionate aunt to Anto Sheron Mervyn (Ilona), London, UK, Antolynne Genisha Saverimuthu (Alexey), San Francisco, California, USA, and Antolyn Priyanka Joachim (Delash), London, UK.

 Ms. Saverimuthu's early years were spent in Atchuvely, Sri Lanka, where she attended Holy Family Convent Jaffna and Jaffna College, Vaddukoddai. After completing her undergraduate studies at Holy Cross College, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), India, she relocated to the UK in 1976. While working as a resolute employee of the local government, she earned her master’s degree from the University of North London and resided in London until her peaceful passing.

A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 12 pm (noon) at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church, 729 High Road, London N17 8 AG, UK. The burial will take place at 2 pm at New Southgate Cemetery and Crematorium Limited, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate, London N11 1GN, UK.

As we mourn her loss, let us also commemorate the beautiful and impactful life that Ms. Lourdes Loganayaki Mallika Saverimuthu lived. May she rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration for us all.
