Anthonypillai Baskaran Augustine passed away in London, UK on 25 October 2023 after a brief illness. Baskaran was born in Karampon in 1951 to his beloved parents Anthonipillai and Bridget, the third child of three children.

He was the beloved husband of loving wife Sharmini, 

Dear son in law of Late Francis Xavier (Former Post Master) and Agnes Selvarani,

Affectionate father of Prathesh and Shalini,

Much loved brother of John Victor and Lourdes , 

Loving brother in law of Mercy,  Bonaventure, Jeyakumar (Jacqueline), Subojini (Reny), Jeevakumar (Latha),

He will be remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews; Damien (Ana), Dilys (Jeff), Nirushi, Pravin, Prasath, Sanjeev, Niranjan, Nithesh, Anjani and Sarani.
